Need reliable and quick help for your dogs annoying or severe behavior issues???

Hi,

My name is Kayla Parrish and I am a behaviorist and leadership trainer for the educated horse and more. I have been working in the Charlotte area for over two years and during that time have been significantly helping a no kill private shelter called North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue. During this time I have rehabilitated many dogs for our rescue as well as many in the community! I am available now for all of your behavior needs! I am not an obedience trainer that will come in and teach sit, stay, and come. I work on problems such as aggression, fear, obsession, separation anxiety, and train you on how to get the most out of your relationship with your dog! I work in in home two hour sessions during which time I can usually make a significant difference with most problems. Some problems are more sever and require a few sessions but I do not have a pre designed plan. I customize my approach to each person and dog because every situation is different! If this sounds like what you have been looking for then please do not hesitate to contact me at educatedhorseandmore@gmail.com or call me at 704-242-1525. Thank you for your time and I look forward to working with you!

This can definitely be helped. The shock collar is not working because you are only trying to address the symptoms, not the real issue. These type of behaviors usually stem from some sort of psychological under stimulation or anxiety. I cannot tell you exactly which it might be without assessing the situation but it can definitely be helped. I know that it is probably annoying to you but it also means that she is uncomfortable and unhappy and stressed. Normal, happy, well adjusted, stress free dogs do not develop those sorts of issues. It also sounds like her habit may have become obsessive which can take some time to undo.

Kayla,

We have problems with our dog whining or "squeaking" as we like to call it whenever he wants ANYTHING. It isn't as bad when we are at home, but when we are out of town it is awful. It is extremely high pitched, and just plain annoying. We got a shock collar and he became collar smart we think. He walks around the house with his high pitch whistle as much and as often as he wants. Everything I read says to do the shock collr, or to ignore it, but neither have worked/ Do yo u think this is something that can be corrected with help?

Thanks,

Sara

Hi Kecia!

I charge $75 for a two hour session in which I can guarantee that you will feel a lot better about his issues and handling him safely so that you can correct them. Please let me know if you would like to schedule an appointment! I look forward to hearing from you.

Do you charge for your services and if so about how much? My male dog has been showing signs of aggression towards other dogs and i'm not sure how to break him of it, he used to go to the dogpark all the time but now i'm afraid to take him in.
